Welcome to the Bujinkan Yamaneko Dojo in Tucson, Arizona! Here you can learn all there is to get you started training in one of the last, remaining true martial arts. Budo Taijutsu is the complete martial art, incorporating strikes, grappling and weapons to form a complete package.
The Bujinkan Yamaneko Dojo in Tucson was founded in 1990 by Shihan Prather under full charter from Grandmaster Masaaki Hatsumi. Shihan Prather has been a personal student since 1984.

Congratulations to Matthew Vega who on Saturday May 17th was tested for his green belt. This was a large test as it promoted him from Kids class to adult class. He was tested by Shihan Prather and Sempai Mitch Hayes and earned his 5th Kyu. Click here for pictures from the test.
Shihan Prather with Soke Hatsumi just after he received a sculpted dragon as a gift from Soke. This was during Shihan Prathers last trip to Japan last year. Soke has associated Shihan Prather with the dragon since his first trip to japan when Soke gave Shihan a hand puppet that was a dragon.
